Well, not all people in the past were stuffy like the Victorians. This woman from 1916 (it depicts a "Miss Hinman Bird") was doing a quite sexy dance as "Goddess of Dawn" in some weird artsy dance production. Wild!
Fight! Fight! This super skinny lady and this quite fat man are fighting about something to the candid amusement of the onlookers. What are they fighting about? I like to imagine she told him it would be a wild party and he got there and it was boring and he lost his temper.

I was browsing through an old 1909 (thus public domain) issue of the Pullman Herald newspaper and came across this delightful illustration for a Clothcraft Clothes ad. The placement and behavior of the characters is most interesting. Here for the future to enjoy!
